I Will Do it Myself!

Every morning Nathan wants to go play in the back yard. And every morning I tell him I have to go scoop the poop first. So this morning he wanted to go outside. I told him I had to go get dressed and then I would go scoop the poop. When I came down this is where I found him. He had gone and gotten the scooper and was in the very back part of the yard scooping the poop himself.I guess this is what happens when you are the third child in a busy family. You learn to just do it your self!

We bought Nathan a slide for the back yard and like all children he has spent many more hours playing with the huge box that it came in. He does really enjoy the slide he loves being out side and climbing the rock wall to get up, but the boxs has become the best gift ever. Jacob and Nathan lay in the box and color with markers on the walls. It has become their club house. Nathan loves it when Jacob is home to play with him but is fine to be out there for a long time by his self coloring away.

This morning Nathan wanted to help me feed the dogs. He loves to use the scoop and put it in their bowls. When I left to go give them their food I said,"keep it in there" meaning to not dump it on the floor. When I came back this is what I found.

His look said to me, "well you said keep it in."

Code Blue

As some of you know Jeffrey has hypoglycemia. Something we just found out after Christmas. During the test his blood sugars dropped so low that they called a code blue. Which has become what he loves to chant through our house now. He is fine. Today we had his follow up appointment with his Doctor. We are going to try through diet to manage it and if we can't then she will send him to a specialist. Thank goodness he is my good eater and really willing to change his diet. It just feels so good to finally have a reason for why he was getting sick all the time. It was the not knowing that was hard. We are proud of him for being a trooper through it all. We will keep you posted on how he is doing.

Work Christmas Party

Santa came this year to Tom's work party in a Fire Truck.
Jacob loved it! Although Santa had a slight mix up on exactly what Jacob was wanting. There is a lot of Pokemon stuff out there so it was understandable. Jeffrey played it cool. And had the model car that he received put together before bed that night. And Nathan was happy to look from afar. He liked getting the gift but was just as happy eating the M&Ms on the table while waiting. And definitely did not want to sit on his lap.

Learning all he can about Christmas

Nathans first cooking class

I knew when it took me a week to be able to get the Christmas decorations up because someone was behind me taking them right back down that we were in for one fun Christmas. And that is just what we had. From start to finish it was so wonderful. Nathan has brought such fun to this season for our entire family. To see everything from his eyes was fun for us and the boys.
