Nathan's first date?

This week some of Nathan's friends went bowling to help him celebrate his success in staying dry all day for over seven days. They had a great time. They even ditched the ramp that helped them bowl and just did it like big kids. After looking at the pictures of him and Sofia I think it looks like they might have been on a date. I am glad that he finally has a girl in his life. He has been surrounded by all boys his whole life. He needs someone to teach him some of the softer things in life.They have become good buddies.

Thing One Reads a Story

What you can not see all that well is that Tom is dressed like Thing One. Nathan was very excited to have Thing one read him a story about Thing one and Thing Two. It's long but it is funny to watch Nate.

Halloween

I think Jacob won the best costume of the night as Waldo. All night everyone loved his costume. Nathan loved being Buzz Light Year and the book of the month at our house had been Cat In The Hat. Tom and I had fun being Thing One and Thing Two. And yes the blue came out.

We had a fun weekend for Halloween this year. Grandma Sandy and Papa Jeff came over on Thursday night and had dinner and helped carve pumpkins. Friday we went to our church trunk-or-treat. Jeffrey helped the young men setup, cleanup, and run a booth. Jacob and Nathan got in some practice for trick-or- treating. Then Saturday we went to our friends who live down town. Downtown turns into quite a happening place. There were tons of people. We herd the owners of one house say they give out 3,000 pieces of candy and spent like$ 650. Nate and Sofia played the rest of the time in her room while we sat on the porch and handed out stickers and enjoyed the costumes.

Yosemite

Thank goodness this was a close as we came to a bear this trip. I think the guy in the back thought we were weird.

As you can see Jeffrey is now taller than me.

Sometimes I look at them and think, They don't even look like each other. And yet they all look like Different stages of Toms life. DNA its a funny thing.

It is so fun to have a brother.

Yosemite

Ok I have finally caught us up to what is going on in our life right now. We returned from our annual trip to Yosemite. We had a great time. It was nice to have someone else to Carry Nathan. I remember carrying Jeffrey to see the water fall when he was little.

Sometimes you have to stop and throw some rocks!

I have a picture of Tom and the Boys every year we have gone, on a rock just like this. It is so fun to see everyone age.

Sometimes you learn the most about whats going on with Jeffrey when your just walking, or driving, I think that was why I like this picture. Just a great day of catching up on each other's life.

Usually when we come there is no water in the falls. But this year it had rained. And oh was there water!!!

We celebrated Jacob's 10th Birthday while we were in Coronado on spring break. That house holds such special memories. We love it and wish it was ours. I hope that is what Jacob was wishing for.

This picture is from March Jeffrey has almost caught his Dad in height. He has now passed me up.

He is just the happiest kid I know.

Long days at the beach equals very sleepy boys.

Nathan was very determined to learn to boogie board this year.

Alan and Kathy came with us this year. We had a nice time. Kathy had a hurt knee but she bravely went out on some adventures with us.

There was a lot of baseball playing this year. I think it was Nathans favorite thing to do.

Spring Break Coronado

I know that these are late but I wanted to make sure they were on here. These are the pictures of our Spring Break trip to Coronado. We went in March. We spent every day at the beach. And as you can see by this picture most days we stayed till it was dark.

I think the thing I love most about these trips is how much time we have as a family. That the boys still love to be with us. It is always sad to come home and know we won't be together all day. That Dad has to go back to work and the kids go back to school.

These two had a great time together this year. Jeffrey realizes he only has a little time with Nathan. That Jeffrey will be gone for many of Nathans trips to the beach. So this year they played a lot together.

Those of you who are around them know how wonderful the two older boys are to Nathan. They really take such good care of him.

Jacob is like Nathans secound Mom. They spent alot of time on the beach just like this. They became such good buddies.
